The American Academy of Pediatrics provides research-based facts on child and teen mental health and development.

The American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry provides fact sheets for families and hosts a number of Resource Centers for anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges.

The Child Mind Institute has a number of helpful guides for parents and educator strategies for children and teens struggling with a number of challenges including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavior disorders.

The Grant Halliburton Foundation in Dallas provides information to help families know what to do before a treatable illness turns into a crisis, and to help young people feel free to ask for help and to know where to get it.

The National Institute of Mental Health offers fact sheets, brochures, and booklets for families of struggling children and teens.

The National Resource Center on ADHD is considered the national clearing house on current ADHD research.   Funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), they provide a number of helpful fact sheets on the Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (CHADD) website.
