Cory’s Stories: A Kid’s Book about Living with ADHD by Jeanne Kraus

This book is about a young boy named Cory who has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and is appropriate for younger children (6-9 years old). It presents information about everyday life with ADHD in short statements and pictures.  Cory is the narrator in the book so it  helps the reader learn from a first-hand experience: showing how Cory deals with ADHD in many situations at school and home.

The Hank Zipzer Series  by Henry Winkler

Learning to Slow Down and Pay Attention by Kathleen Nadeau

 Putting on the Brakes: Young People’s Guide to Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by Patricia O. Quinn, M.D. and Judith M. Stern, M.A.
