Does your child or teen struggle with oppositional behavior? impulsivity? following directions? completing chores or homework? or transitioning?
Over the years, Dr. Davenport has studied a number of parenting techniques and while not all strategies work for all parents and their children, some are more likely to work with those who struggle with behavioral problems associated with ADHD, ODD, and executive functioning difficulties.
Structured behavioral and discipline techniques are proven successful. Combined with flexibility that adjusts for a family’s unique needs, “structured flexibility” is an attitude that focuses on addressing problems instead of bemoaning them.
