Narrowing Worksheet

Many of us who struggle with executive functioning challenges have trouble narrowing down our projects.  As a result, our ventures are too big and become too difficult to complete in the amount of time we have.

If this is a struggle for you, use the narrowing worksheet, and ask yourself these questions to narrow your projects down to size.

  1. What is my idea for completing this project or task?

  2. Is my idea too big for the time I have to complete this project or task?

  3. If so, what are some components or subparts of my idea?

  4. What one component or subpart interests me?

  5. How does this component or subpart meet the expectations for this project or task?

  6. What is my narrow definition of success for this task?

  7. What do I not need to do to complete this task?
